The kinXus beta runs through Apple's TestFlight on iOS. As a beta tester you'll get the latest builds before they reach the App Store, and you can send feedback directly from inside the app.

How to join

You will receive an email invite similar to the following:

What we'd love feedback on

• Sign-up + sign-in flows (including the passkey enrollment)
• Creating Trips and Moments, inviting friends
• Bulk-upload from the camera roll — does each photo land on the right Moment?
• Real-time chat — messages arriving instantly on all members' devices
• Map view — readability, performance with many pins
• Anything that crashes, hangs, or surprises you

Privacy during the beta

The same privacy policy applies during beta as in the public release: media, members, and conversations are visible only to people you invited. Diagnostic / crash reports may include device type and OS version to help us debug — these are collected through Apple's TestFlight tooling and are described in our privacy policy.

Limitations

Beta builds expire after 90 days; you'll get a notification when a newer build is ready. Some features may be unfinished, behind a feature flag, or temporarily broken — that's the point of the beta.

Focus areas for this build

1. Account creation, sign-out, and sign-in via passkey + magic-link email recovery (apple-app-site-association: prod.kinxus.info).
2. Creating a Trip + Moments, inviting members by email — including external invitees who don't yet have an account (they get a magic-link sign-up email).
3. Bulk-upload of 50+ photos to a Trip; verify each lands on the map and inside the correct Moment without manual tagging.
4. Real-time chat: open the same Trip on two devices and confirm messages and reactions appear instantly on both.
5. Permissions on shared media: members can view; non-members cannot.
